As per modern concepts Ahmedabad Zoo is also changing its close types of enclosures to open near natural enclosure where animals will get more space and natural surroundings. While visitors will also see the animals in natural surroundings without any cage of iron bar etc. These open enclosures are called moat.

Drinking water, Toilets, Library, Education room is available for visitors.

Every Thursday, zoo is free for educational tour & on Friday, zoo is close.
